Report on the automotive components sector. Spain has one of the strongest automotive component manufacturing industries in the world. It is the third largest producer in Europe and the seventh largest in the world. Sales have grown by 25% in the last five years. The sector exports more than 50% of its production and has recorded 22% growth over the 2003-2006 period.
