Spanish-Australian business encounter

On 24 June 2009 TRH the King and Queen of Spain will begin a visit to Australia. The Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) and the Trade Commission of Spain in Sydney, in collaboration with the High Council of Spanish Chambers of Commerce (CSC) and the Confederation of Employers and Industries of Spain (CEOE), are organizing a business encounter between Spain and Australia that will take place in Sydney on 25 and 26 June.

The principal objective of this business encounter is to help to identify business investment and cooperation opportunities as well as potential partners in Australia. During the event participants will have direct contact with Australian business people that are interested in establishing strategic alliances with Spanish companies.

The sectors and subsectors chosen as priorities for this encounter are: Defense; Energy; Water treatment and management; Infrastructures; and Information and communication technologies.
