Hispano-Mexican Business Investment and Cooperation Forum

This forum is being organized by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX) in collaboration with the Trade Commission of Spain in Mexico City, Promexico and the Mexican Council for Foreign Trade, Investment and Technology (COMCE).

The principal objective of this business encounter is to help identify business investment and cooperation opportunities as well as potential partners in Mexico. The event will provide direct contact with business people from this country who are interested in establishing strategic business alliances with Spanish firms.

Mexico is the second largest economic power in Latin America and the fourteenth largest in the world. Combined with the excellent outlook for the coming years, Mexico is a highly attractive destination for foreign investment. Spanish companies also have the added advantage of the well known and much valued “Spain” brand, as well as sharing the same language.

Mexico City has 20 million inhabitants in the metropolitan area, produces 20% of the GDP and is the capital and strategic, financial and economic center of the country. The city is currently the principal investment destination in Mexico.
