Agroindustry Business Encounter in Southern Africa - "AGRO- INDUSTRY 2008"

The Spanish Institute for Foreign trade, ICEX, with financial support from the ESIPP program, is helping to promote AGROINDUSTRY 2008 in Spain, the Business Cooperation and Investment Encounter which will take place in Dar-es-Salaam (Tanzania) from 6 to 8 May 2008.

The main objective of the encounter is to provide the more than 250 European and local firms expected with the possibility to establish contact with potential clients, suppliers and partners from Europe and Southern Africa in order to set up business cooperation agreements such as joint ventures, know-how and technology transfers, distribution, outsourcing and technical assistance agreements, among others.

At the same time conferences and thematic seminars on the encounter’s sub-sectors will be organized to provide information on market trends and planned public investment. Euro-African business and collaboration opportunities will be identified to facilitate synergies between the public and private sectors, encouraging public private partnerships (PPP).
