 Description:Participation is limited to Spanish wine importers in the United Kingdom and wineries that participated in the last edition of the Wines from Spain Trade Fair held in London on 6 March 2008.
This is the fourth edition of the OLN "New Wave Spanish Wines" awards. The tasting to decide the “100 best Spanish wines in the United Kingdom” will take place at "The Worx" in London on 10 and 11 June. A strategic alliance has been made with the industry magazine "Off Licence News" (OLN), aimed exclusively at professionals from the sector (importers, exporters, supermarkets, chains of independent specialists, convenience stores etc.).
The 100 winning wines will be announced in the OLN and the full results will be published in a special supplement of the magazine.
The winning wines will be presented to the press and the industry at a tasting on 8 July at "The Worx" and the awards ceremony will be held at the Spanish Embassy on 18 September 2008.
Attendance at the awards ceremony is strictly invitation only.
