A total of 10 Spanish companies from the irrigation, agricultural machinery components, livestock equipment, crop protection and hothouse sectors have taken part in the Expo Agrofood Fair in Guanajuato, Mexico, in order to present their wares in this country.
According to the sector employers’ organization, Agragex, more than 650 exhibitors from 34 countries took part in the fair, an increase of 25% over the previous year’s event, and around 80,000 visitors passed through the gates.
The purpose of this mission was to establish contacts with potential clients and to help simplify the practical difficulties that countries experience in entering the Mexican market.
According to Agragex, Mexican companies stressed that Spanish agricultural machinery products have a good image overseas, while the Spanish companies said they were extremely pleased with the commercial contacts gained during the scheduled sessions, and the business meetings organized for this trade mission.
