One of the most influential icons of Spanish design, José Antonio Gandía-Blasco, will be appearing at The Hotel Show 2010, the Middle East’s leading event devoted to contract and leisure, to be held in Dubai from 18 to 20 May, 2010.
According to the event’s organizers, the Spaniard will be one of the top speakers at this “Seven Star” conference, which will focus on the outdoor furnishings, spa, tourism center, sports and leisure sectors of the hospitality industry.
Gandía-Blasco has worked on the Adam and Eve Hotel in Turkey, which has won several World Travel Awards. Specializing in design hotels, such as the Farol Design Hotel in Portugal and Gansevoort South Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida, Gandía-Blasco also takes Arab culture as an inspiration for future furnishing concepts.
The last edition of this event attracted 58 exhibitors from 41 countries, and attracted 9,788 sector leaders and opinion formers from 77 countries.
