Venezuelan Ambassador to Spain Isaías Rodríguez has estimated the investments currently underway by Spanish companies in his country at €8.5 billion.
This information was provided during an interview with Spanish news agency Europa Press in which the diplomat indicated that the amount invested currently by the banking sector, telecommunications, naval industry, energy production and gas and oil extraction could be increased with new agreements with the rail and food sectors.
Rodríguez said that conversations are underway with Spanish companies that could lead to benchmark agreements for the construction of new railroads, in the case of infrastructures, and canned meat imports, for the food sector.
