Qatar Airways has announced through its general cargo sales agent in Spain, EC Cargo, that from 30 November it will fly daily from Madrid-Barajas airport in Spain to Doha in Qatar.
To date, Qatar has been connected with four weekly flights (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday), which will now be extended to the other days of the week as well as having different departure times from the Spanish capital. On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays flights will leave Barajas at 15.00, while on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sunday they will depart at 10.40.
The flights are operated with A-333 passenger aircraft, palletized and with a cargo capacity that varies depending on the flight. To connect with the daily flights from Madrid, EC Cargo has announced the launch of a daily air-truck service from Barcelona airport. All cargo that leaves El Prat airport in Barcelona must be delivered the day prior to the departure of the reserved flight, to the warehouse of Qatar Airways’ handling agent in Barcelona, FlightCare.
