The Cervantes Institute’s Adolfo Bioy Casares Library in Cairo has been named “Library of the Year” by the International Committee of the Egyptian Library and Information Association (ELIA), according to a press release from the Spanish institution that is responsible for promoting the Spanish language around the world.
This award recognizes the contribution made by the Spanish library to improving the library services offered to Egyptian society. The panel pointed out its modern design, professionalism and the high-quality services it provides.
The ceremony took place as part of the Annual Libraries Convention organized by the Association, held at Sinai University, in the city of Arish.
