BuyVIP, the Spanish company dedicated to selling fashion online, has announced that it is expanding into the Polish market as the gateway into Eastern Europe.
To access the Polish market, the company has created a joint venture, equally owned with the Polish online trading platform Allegro, the leader in the country. According to a statement by BuyVIP, Allegro has more than ten million clients and a 52% market share in the online sales sector.
BuyVIP has also strengthened its presence in Germany. The company has signed an agreement with the German new technology company United Internet Media to launch the online sales club BrandsToGo, which will also sell articles from the leading brands.
The company has 300 employees and 4.5 million members in the markets in which it operates. Founded in 2006, BuyVIP has already introduced its business model into seven European countries.
