The Natraceutical Group has formalized a strategic alliance with BioNike, a pharmaceutical laboratory for hypoallergenic cosmetics sold in pharmacies in Italy, for the penetration of Forté Pharma in the Italian market, the Spanish company reports in a press release.
The agreement with the Italian company materializes Forté Pharma’s interest in fully developing in Italy, Europe’s third-largest nutritional supplements market after Germany and the United Kingdom, with a total volume of sales in 2008 of €950 million.
The agreement signed between Forté Pharma and BioNike also includes the distribution of a range of the Italian company’s products through Forté Pharma’s in-pharmacy sales network in France. Forté Pharma is currently present in over 10 countries in Europe, although the company will focus the sale of BioNike’s products on the French market, where Forté Pharma is one of the three leading companies on the market.
