The International Professional Audiovisual Technology Trade Show, Broadcast’09, is being held from 3 to 6 November 2009 in Madrid. This is the most important platform for trends in the audiovisual technology sector in Spain, where the latest technical developments that have come out in the two years since the last edition are presented.
A total of 138 companies are participating in the 14th edition of Broadcast to present the latest developments in this area, some as interesting as Sony’s 3D Telepresence Room Solution, which enables teleconferencing that simulates the actual presence of the speaker in the same room, saving travel costs; Panasonic’s AG-HMR10 camera, which is suitable for the production of all types of events, surveillance video or reality shows; the automated telescopic crane for larger filming of the world, the Technocam Xpander, by Crambo Visuales; or Music Library’s Audio Network music archive, which enables producers of any medium to access an archive legally with over 32,000 songs of all styles and periods; as well as other new developments.
According to the Broadcast website, the event will also be attended by one of the most recognized audio gurus, Bob McCarthy, sound designer for most of the Disney theme parks and for emblematic buildings such as Carnegie Hall or the Lincoln Center in New York.
